| Michael was called to the Bar in 1998, and practices in the areas of Plaintiff Personal Injury Litigation, Family Law, and Wills and Estates. Prior to being called to the Bar, Michael worked as a Clerk and Student with Levinter & Levinter between 1990 and 1996 while obtaining his Bachelor of Arts Degree in History at the University of Ottawa (1993) and his Bachelor of Law Degree at the University of Alberta (1996). He articled at the firm in 1996/1997 and joined the firm as a lawyer upon his call to the Bar.
Michael became a partner with the firm in January 2005.
Michael has appeared at all levels of Court in Ontario and has also appeared before the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board, Appeals Tribunal. He has attended on numerous trials as counsel, and given his lengthy tenure at the firm, Michael has significant experience in all aspects of personal injury litigation arising from motor vehicle accidents, occupier's liability matters, as well as expertise in the representation of insured persons in first party accident benefits claims.
Michael has acted as a contributor for Continuing Legal Education programs offered by the Canadian Bar Association and Ontario Trial Lawyers Association and he currently supervises the firm's articling program. |
